Job Opening: Safety Compliance Consultant
We are seeking an occupational safety specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industry, public sector or the consulting field. Qualifications include good technical writing skills, creative training techniques, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, team contributor, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Sharepoint.
Applicant must have experience in performing comprehensive audits and assessments, developing customized written compliance programs, presenting site-specific training, and preparing custom safety management systems. The selected candidate will act as a technical support resource and part-time safety coordinator for an established base of existing clients throughout the State of Wisconsin and beyond. The individual will also contribute to finding new clients from which to establish long-term business relationships. Understanding and interpretation of OSHA, MSHA and DSPS standards is a must. Experience in the municipal sector and construction field is a plus. In-state, regional and overnight travel is required. The selected individual will work out of our Plymouth, Wisconsin office.
