Alpha Terra Training

Training - Safety

Safety Training includes identifying all training requirements for an organization, outlining required topics, preparing a presentation timeline, preparing training materials, and conducting the training sessions.

Performance Based/Site Specific Training

Performance-based training is a key part of safety compliance, and as such, Alpha Terra has completed extensive customized training on a wide range of safety topics and for a broad spectrum of industry, mining and public sector clients. A variety of participatory training methods are used including discovery learning, imbedded testing, as well as a variety of quizzes, tests and exercises intended to enhance the learning experience.

General Awareness Training

We conduct General Awareness Training seminars. These sessions may cover regulatory requirements such as hazard communication, respiratory protection, confined space entry and defensive driving.

MSHA 8- Hour Refresher Training

For the eleventh year in a row Alpha Terra has successfully trained over 1,500 truckers and miners!  These sessions require a combination of safety and first aid training.  Our instructors are certified by the American Heart Association, which allows us to provide the full eight hours of training. Training is provided between January and early April. View 2010 Public MSHA 8-Hour Refresher Training Schedule. MSHA Part 46, 47 and 62 programs are also available upon request.

We offer personalized training sessions for your staff upon request. For your convenience, these training sessions can be held onsite at your facility. View complete listing of Alpha Terra's Environmental, Health and Safety training courses.

"" Because of the First Aid/CPR Training I learned through Alpha Terra, I was able to act promptly and do what was needed to save a life. The emergency responders said I did everything right and asked who trained me. Thanks Alpha Terra!"

Amy Miller
Future Foam, Inc.

"Steve, we have received positive feedback from our employees and staff about the recent safety training that was done by Alpha Terra. Visual examples given during each of the different sessions kept them engaged in the topics. The electrical training was very thought provoking, giving each of us a chance to see, 'What’s Wrong.' We will be trying to get it put onto our schedule for a return visit next year."

Alan Zinn
Safety Coordinator Foremost Farms USA Cooperative

"Gordy, you did a great job over the course of the past couple days and I am sure we will be using Alpha Terra again in the future. I will be sure to request you as our trainer!

Thanks again and I hope to see you next year!”"
